after much pain and whining and A&D and hand holding, it is finally done.
and i have pictures:
the right shoulder
the center
the left bottom
the right bottom
and once again, the thing we've all been waiting for, the piece that will grace the wall of a tattoo studio forever,
the whole freakin' tattoo!!!

Very nice!!!
It looks very beautiful .
The roses look very life like . I hope it's all that you wished for .
I keep think'n about the cost , is that wrong ?
I wanna get one too and it's like way smaller than yours and I've been quoted anywhere from 500.00 to 800.00 bucks . For a Celtic cross on my forearm . They say the knots are hard to do . Now I'm think'n about go'n to "H&H" in Vegas . At lest I know they're OK . Wha'da'ya'think ?
toby - thank you, again. is it odd that everytime someone tells me it's beautiful, i want to say "i didn't really do it, i just had to sit still, but thanks" ?
wally - thank you, i really do think it's everything i wanted (of course, i can't see all of it at one time except in pictures, so i can't really be sure, but i trust it.) thinking about the cost isn't wrong, they cost one hell of a lot.
when you get a tat, you pay for the labor, which can be anywhere from (usually) $100 to $400 per hour. they charge depending on how long they think it will take them. celtic knots are harder to do, and require more concentration, so they tend to be more expensive.
don't go to a shop you don't know just cause they cost less, but see if the shops you know (or a trusted friend recomends) have an apprentice. they don't charge as much and the work is usually just as good.
What else can I say unless I see it with my own eyes. From your pics it is very nice!! Very cool!! A lot better than what I had in minds eye with just the outline. You should be VERY proud. :)
