wee hee hee!
so at the last event, i got some fantastic pictures taken while my friends and i were doing a fire show. normally i look retarded spinning poi, like i have small fire balls orbiting me and i'm trying to tie myself in knots, but this guy has a special camera where he can hold the shutter open longer and so he got the whole pattern on a few shots, see:

My Nikon FM2 has a feature that can keep the shutter open as long as I want. It's a very tricky shot and has to be done with a cord. Nice job. Sometimes these shots look like a blob.
yeah, i got lucky that the guy taking the shots is really good with his camera.
but you should be there when it happens, the fire sounds like planes flying and it looks so pretty from inside the pattern
Those pictures are incredible! I can never get those shots on purpose, but once in awhile I have a happy accident.

mom - i've never tried, but i'm glad that the guy watching knew what to do with his camera. i've never seen good pictures of me doing poi before
